Re: Week 1: São Paulo, Brazil (Entry List)

Last year this tournament was a 125K CH. Now this year with only 35K the list is worst than last year and we will not have Mello winning this tournament like in 2010, 2009 and another years.

Re: Week 1: São Paulo, Brazil (Entry List)

I agree that the line up is quite poor. Definitely would be a good warm up for players that are in South America and would like to play the Australian Open. But as you can see considered the line up of other years generally speaking players are not taking this tournament with that intention.

Considering that most of Latin American players are not going to the quallies of the Australian Open why not to have a series of CH events around in January before the ATP South American swing in February? Many players with rankings lower than 110 would be playing around (logical level for a CH event). There could be a combination of events in summer spots like Punta Del Este, Recife, Guaruja or Mar Del Plata. Even Rio could host one of those events and would make sense for another South American CH swing during this time of the year.

What's your problem with Gastão Elias? Did you lose money because of his wins? or does he sistematically beat your fav's? Anyhow, drop dead, and leave the guy alone!
Go Pepe!

Elias? A pusher?

First of all, your posts are almost incomprehensible. Awful writing, awful points and stupidity everywhere. You may have lost money but so what? Why do you keep betting? Yes, his results are not that great, yes, he does have ups and downs. But so what? How does that make him less player? He has had a lot of injuries during the last year, of course it is complicated to evaluate his chances going into a game. You should be 15, 16 or 17 and I know I'm losing my time on this but whatever...

I agree with theKSHE, but just one thing: Does it really make difference his age? There is a lot of teenagers that are smarter e know more about tennis than a lot of adults. BMW Fun should improve his english, that is for sure... but if he is 10, 20 or 80, I really do not see any difference. By the way... I cannot wait to watch this tournament.

Re: Week 1: São Paulo, Brazil (Entry List)

So what? I'm 17 aswell but I do have enough maturity to state something and support it with valid points. He doesn't.

That said, hope Elias does well in here to start another great season. Injury free at least.

Yeah, maturity is what really matters, but some people are mature with 15, and some are not with 50.

Elias is a really good player, young, and I have faith that he can play really well this new year.
