What a rollercoaster!

Odesnik blew 6 breakpoints in the first game, then almost gave up. He finally broke Kunitsyn in the second set on his 13th breakpoint. He then went on to choke twice serving for the second set before winning the TB. Odesnik took a 3-0 lead in the final set but Kunitsyn came back to 3-3 with breakpoints, but Odesnik saved them (which he hadn't done all match) and went on to win.

Thank fuck I didn't stay up for this drama. I thought it was over after the 1st set. There was a massive delay at 2-5 in the first and then when Odesnik got broken after play resumed I was sure a retirement was imminent.

When I peeked in at this match, I thought it was over. Odensnik had lost the first set and was arguing endlessly with the umpire over some call, and Kunitsyn was hitting brilliant winners. I'm surprised. But I know from past experience tht Odesnik is a pesky player and just doesn't go away even when you think he should.
