Groth really deserves some respect.
At a solid age he is improving slowly but surely after a lot of years at a challenger level

Definitely. He seems to have worked a game for himself with that serve. He'll be an interesting challenge for Nishikori if he serves well.

Would have liked to have seen some revenge for that IW disaster. Lopez is 34 holy hell.

Groth is an inspirational example of someone who breaks through at a later age than most. He is on the verge of the top 50 for the first time at age 27. Should encourage some of the younger players who are still struggling playing challengers, etc.

There's an unusual amount of breaks of serve in Gorth's matches lately.

Glorious result, great work Groth. :yeah:

Loses to Clayciano but beats him on Grass and Hard. The important thing is now Groth leads the h2h 2-1. :sport:

I think it really shows that it seems the improvement highest prime level seems to have increased from 25 or so to closely 28 as seen in many players it seems.
