Jurgen is getting in shape as he did last year at the Kooyong Classic. In his first match he will play Tsonga. Last year they played here in a rain shortened match with Jurgen winning 8-6.
I feel the match practive will help. Last year he reached the round of 16 at the AO so he has points to defend. Go Jurgen.

WOW! I just checked the Kooyong Classic site and it said Jurgen dg Tsonga 6-4.6=3

I hope Jurgen can continue to play this well all season. Next he plays Marty Fish of the USA.
The win over Tsonga should boost his confidence a lot.

I felt certain that Jurgen would beat Marty Fish, but he didn't.
Melzer L Fish 2-6, 6-4, 1-6.
I was surprised the final set score and wonder what happened.
At the AO, Jurgen is seeded 31 and plays Ivo Karlovic in the first round.

Jurgen had one more match to play. He defeated Gael Monfils 6-3, 6-7, 6-2.
I feel he is ready for the AO.
I hope he has no trouble with Karlovic's big serve and has a good win.
