Drummondville final: Pospisil d. Mmoh 7-6, 4-6, 6-4
The win takes him to 100 in the rankings and gives him confidence going into the Davis Cup finals. Canada starts on Thursday, which gives him time to get over jetlag. Looking forward to some direct main draw entries in 2023.

Davis Cup quarterfinals: Vasek and Shapovalov d. Krawietz and Puetz 2-6, 6-3, 6-3
The former Wimbledon champ is still a threat at the highest level. It's nice to see last week's Drummondville singles champ feed off his emotions instead of being betrayed by them.

Auger-Alliassime and Pospisil d. Fognini and Berrettini 7-6 ( 7-2), 7-5 and Canada advances to the final with a 2-1 win over Italy. Vasek is still dropping serve a bit too much, but he's returning better than he usually does.

Pospisil has played Davis Cup every year since 2011. He put all his heart into it and it's nice to see him win. His singles record against players ranked worse than him is 6-1. Against players ranked better than him he is a respectable 7-13, with a great run of three straight wins in one week in 2019. Other singles highlights include his two live wins against Great Britain in 2017 and the same against Israel in 2011. In 2022, he won the deciding doubles match against Spain, Germany and Italy.
