Opinions/inside info on why Sam Q is doing this rather than entering qualies for Montreal? Ostensibly easier points? Confidence dip pre-Indy?

Well seeing as Sam got to the semis of Indy and beat Blake and Karlovic, by beating them @ their own game :shrug: not a bad showing for DY.

Sam's definitely in a league above DY right now, but hopefully Donald will put in the same work that Sam's put in and they can be up at the top together soon :yeah:

might have been given an appearance fee to play Vancouver, and I believe he will get a wildcard for Cincy, so perhaps he just decided a week off before a run to the US Open would be a good thing.
