Same story as 1R: strong first two sets, third set more erratic but still Med gets it. Didn't get broken so far, good stuff. Wasteful on BPs, mostly due to his consistent game allowing opponent to try and redline, but clutch getting out of any trouble on his serve. I really liked it when he managed a difficult volley on BP; like last year's final, he'll need to bring clutch net play in due time if he is to give himself a real chance to win it all.

Worried about GOATvedev without the US crowd booeing him. There might not be the same motivating factor as before, but maybe I'm wrong. Hope he gets far, or why not, win it all.
