I personally see great value on Roddick at @15.5 . He was a nightmare draw but if he can beat Ginepri in second round I see him in the semis facing Vegas grandpa or Nadal and I think that he´ll be a favourite against any of them in this type of courts. I love Nadal´s options too but @5 is awful so it´s Roddick or nothing for me as I see the SWISS GOD making it to the final easily in the other side of the draw.

yeah its rather sad odds for the outrights. If anything I might throw some change on Safin @ 25. When hes on hes about the only player I think that can give Fed a headache. If he decides to no show then im out change no biggie.

The womens side shows more value. Justine @5 or even Venus @ 11 or Serena @16
I dont see Kimmy coming thru being the choker she is in big matches. Lindsay cant beat any of the good movers. Masha wont beat the belgians.

Willhill offer him @ 9

Anyway, it's interesting that most sites give a better chance to Nadal than Roddick. I guess that is because of the bad draw duck got, but still...

I went for Safin @ 17 and by the way, Federer for this year's US Open @ 1.66 is better odds than Federer for next years Wimby @ 1.53...

well i generally don't bet on outright markets as a general rule in any sports, especially not as short as this - but who is going to beat him?

Safin if fully fit (mentally and physically) is the best player in the world IMO (yeah I'll get shit for saying that no doubt) but clearly he isn't. I watched him in the Nth American swing and he was far from it.

Nadal still raw on HC, though I have seen in my own eyes he can play on the surface, but fed's experience will get him over the line should they face off in the final

Forget Hewitt and Roddick, both are non events

I'll enjoy the winnings in 2 weeks time :p
i m gonna go for fedex too..
but why dont u put your 10 units match by match?
u can get more than 2.00 that way..
i got 2.2 that way instead of 1.65 at wimby

And i think it is a joke that Nadal is quoted as second favourite for the USO

(ok adeegee, hit me ;) )
:armed:

I think its pretty understandable. He's the only one (other than Safin) that has any belief they can beat Federer. And whoever wins it is more than likely gonna have to beat Federer.

To be honest I'd fear for him if he played Roddick, I still don't like Rafa's chances every time he plays a huge server on a hard court. Thing is, if Roddick beat Nadal he'd probably have to face Fed in the final and we all know what would happen there. Looks between Fed and Rafa to me (Safin would be included if he's fully fit). Still going with Gonzo as my outsider at a large 125/1
