Couldn't hold serve at all in the second, just 1-of-4 on his service games, and when he dropped serve to open the third, figured he was done, but he found his form back to fight out a win.

Well deserved after a good season, he has really come on quicker than I expected

If he gets a fortunate draw, it's certainly possible for him to win a match, but even if he doesn't, this has been a successful showing.
