Very avergae final. This matchup is overrated. How many memorable, exciting and high quality encounters had they have? Like 3 or 4 out of 15 meetings? Wimbledon and USO finals were basically one sided, with average quality. RG final is at least memorable, but it was also one point away from being lopsided.

 

You know....I hate to agree with this but you do make a good point about the overrated matches. It seems a lot of the older generation of pundits are paid to promote the "evolution of the game" theory which I personally subscribe to but I don't want to get into that. But in terms of the matches, the only real epic was RG25 but ultimately that should have been a straight-forward win by Sinner in 3-4 sets if he learned how to manage those situations better than Alcaraz and had a serve befitting his height (then it would be game over for Baldcaraz).

Well chronologically his final form is when he retires and it would likely be after 2025 lower than 2025 form in quality, so yes.
