Good third set by Krawietz/Mies today, into the QF. Probably quite a helpful loss by Pavic/Soares the round before.

Surprised that Chardy/Martin lost to Bambridge/McLachlan. Thought they were up for a deep run here.

When Heliövaara came back to tennis with the Tokyo 2020 goal, he probably assumed Kontinen would be a certainty to qualify as a top 10 player.

Kubot/Melo lost first set from *5-4 40-15, hitting 2 or 3 double faults in row? Kubot of course :banghead: and this 2nd set is quite disappointing so far.
Credit to Mayer and Sousa though, good match by them.

King Zeballos, what a great match, so entertaining. Was hitting winners and return bombs for fun.
Granollers also very good match:bigclap:

Sock is still the real number 1 in the world, impressive level from him most of the match. Imagine he manages to win the tournament with this guy.

Krawietz/Mies have been quite bad (result-wise definitely) in the last couple of months, but are into the semi's with a good display of tennis.

They were a little bit unlucky and lost a couple of close matches - four match tie-breaks with 8-10 or 7-10.

Now they got lucky, that all the seeded teams in their quarter lost before they had to face them. That will change in the next round, which will be the first real test.
