Its amazing what can happen in two weeks...
Its sunny in Scotland and Ivo becomes a force to be reckoned with on clay!!! (well one out of two aint bad! )
Its been a while since the last post
Ivos played a few matches

26/04/2006 beat Davydenko, Nikolay Russia (#6) R2 67(7) 75 64
27/04/2006 beat Korolev, Evgeny Russia (#159) 67(4) 76(4) 76(5)

BMW OPEN by FWU AG - Munich
02/05/2006 beat Haas, Tommy Germany (#25) 63 76(3)
and all this on clay!!!!
Which means Ivo is 4-2 on clay!! (His best performance in years!!! )
This compares with 15-11 on hardcourts so far!
ALSO Ivo is up in the rankings to #53 - he's now only 2 places behind his highest ever.
Today Ivo played Mr T Haas. Fourth seed Tommy Haas then suffered a 6-3 7-6 (7-3) defeat to Croatia's Ivo Karlovic.
"It was very frustrating," said Haas, who saw Karlovic fire 22 aces. "He was very strong and if he keeps up like he did, all I can say is 'good luck'." (source bbc website - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/tennis/4965658.stm) - an early prediction there by Haas for Rolland Garros perhaps!
bring on Nadal!!
Next Ivo plays Bjorn Phau in R2. The pair have played only once before in 2001 at The Bronx, Challenger on Hard Court in the Round of 16; Phau won 76 75. Here's hoping for better luck for Ivo this time!!!
A couple of good results here could see Ivo move into the top 50!!!
