Is choke the only word in your dictionary djokovicgonzalez?

On topic: bad loss for Marcos! It wasn't like the morning match should have gotten too much out of him. Anyway solid display by Dodig and an unexpected final..

Comparing to Dodig, Ferrer is lazy guy and tanker . You can't be mad on this guy even when he loses 0 and 0 , he is ready to die for any single point . If somebody deserves to succeed , Dodig surely does

choke? Dodig took it to Baghdatis and simply outplayed him. Did you actually watch the match or just follow the livescore numbers?
Yes, I watched it. The two doubles serving for the set (the ONLY two doubles in the set) pretty much definition of choke. And though Dodig's diving volley was great, why didn't Baghdatis just go DTL? And there have, in fact, been many, many chokes this year. Seems like every other match.

maybe your definition of choke is flawed, then.

This match contained no choking. Baghdatis dropped his level and had very negative body language/attitude in the second set, but that has nothing to do with choking. And it certainly doesn't mean that Dodig didn't play well, that he just "accepted" a win from Baghdatis. Dodig was aggressive and made some great shots, and deserved the win.

Baghdatis disappeared after he broke at 5-5.New career high ranking for Ivan again,I think Tursunov will beat him though.

He got tight when he had a chance to close it out and then disappeared in 2nd. Yes, Dodig played well. I like Dodig. But the first set was gifted to him.

oh c'mon . stop clowning all around . Baggy lost 10 of last 13 matches and you are talking about enormous choking . Dodig lost the serve at 5-5 from 40-0 up and you are talking about gifting . Dodig played two amazing points to 0-40 up and last DF was somehow expected . Baghdatis played bad second set but Dodig was at the top of his game and Baggy would have lost even if he managed to keep the level from the first set

Disgusting implosion from Fatdatis. He could probably lose to Blake next week if he keeps this headcase mugging up.

Dodig, what a fighter and he deserves all the accolades he gets. Hope he can win the title.
