How is it possible ??
I read few hours ago that Mathieu would not play.....
It maybe a mistake on the scoreboard.

maybe that was the mistake, del pony is the one who is not going to play and it was mistaken for Mathieu

Seems both Del Potro and Mathieu were not fit, but they couldn't both pull out, so the tournament pursuaded Mathieu to try -- and retire after one set.

At least that's what it looks like.

OMG! What the ..?? Moya was down 0-5 to Koubek, then lost the first set 6-1.
Is he "doing a Rafa", a la Chennai final? He has to wake up to himself -0 he can't still be exhausted from that semi final against Nadal ... come on, Carlos, it's only best of 3 here in Sydney. Or are you going to go down in 1st round like Blake? We don't want BOTH last year's finalists out of this event the 1st round!

Hmmmm, 2-1 to Moya in 2nd set, games going on serve. Some work to do here Carlos ...
