Points won
No1e: 77
Basic: 55

Omg wow. What an amazing and dominant display from the best player of all time. No1e did as little as possible to win and was trying to save energy for the later rounds and all he had to do was play at 15% to win easily even though he could’ve played at 100% if he wanted to but he chose not to, and No1e is only getting started. I can’t wait until No1e hits 100% even though all he needs is 70% to win the title and beat everyone easily.

1 down, 5 to go. No1e’s back

What a shitshow.

OP's standards for dominance are quite low, lol. Basic was mugging also.

What a shame Chung had to withdraw and LL Basic was the opponent, Djoker could get away with playing less then 50%.

Djokovic was pretty bad in the second set; otherwise you can't take away much from first tournament matches involving surface change..

Polansky should be no problem, but Tsip and most importantly Zverev in QF will be Djokovic biggest test before the Final..

Djokovic was dominating the rallies in 1st set, but his precision and serving completely went AWOL in 2nd set.

Yes, it is most probably hardcourt rust, but a more dangerous opponent is coming up in R3 (possibly Tsitsipas), so he cannot afford such lapses anymore. It was very frustrating to watch...

No1e won almost 60% of the points so yes No1e did dominate. Just because he chose to play at 15% doesn’t change the fact that he dominated.

Not happy with the sea warrior. It seems like he forgot how to play on hardcourts.

And the way he was getting broken in the second set was sad and hilarious at the same time Lol.

50%ovic here. This is his best surface so we expect him to play better than this.
Polanski next... another match which won't tell us much.

Did peope expect a 6-1 6-1 vs Basic with like 3 UE? Novak seved really well( over 70% 1st serve and won 76% of them) and besides those 2 tense df's in the end & returned well. It's his 1st match on HC since March so i wouldn't read much into this at all. Onto to Polansky.

Nole got pretty negative because of few mistakes in that 2nd set. I think he would've routine it if he just chilled instead. Wish he stops hitting himself that hard on the back of the foot with a racket.

He should have won easier since Basic still wasn't anything special or even playing well in 2nd set. Not sure why he could not serve it out, when he broke for 2nd time...
