Both use strategic MTO's and time violations, both are dishonest, but which style annoys you more, that of Nadal's or Djokovic?

Murray choking on purpose time and time again just to distract his opponent is a much more annoying and vile strategy imho.
Look at the 3rd set today : Novak was lost, had no serve, yet Andy refused to destroy him, consistently choked and even let him have 3 SP only to win the tb at the end.Disgusting tactic.

both players' 'tactics' are disgusting
the top 2 do everything in their power to bring the whole ATP into disrepute. just when you think the organization cant get any lower, you've got these 2 setting the example :facepalm:
the case of nadal i can understand. he's hypochondriac and uncle toni teached him to cheat in order to win. when it comes to djokovic, it might be a little bit more complicated but i do have a pretty good theory. perhaps the younger generations of serbians are suffering an insecurity complex derived from the balkans war in the early ninenties. perhaps djokovic himself feels that in war everything should be permitted and that -because of the nature of the competition- tennis in his mind can be conceived as war too, he think cheating in tennis is all too valid. that kind of behaviour is obviously that of a person sick in the head but that's what seems to be the case here, sadly. i don't want to encompass the entire country of serbia into this description but needless to say, it does make you wonder.

Maybe twisted on my part but I call it 'single minded' 'determined' & a 'win at all costs' mentality.
Not everyone will like it but they are successful. Would I take Murray acting the exact same if it meant slams, hell right I would.
Nole/Nadal are great players, they don't need dishonesty to prevail.

You gotta understand that they don't do it on purpose as a form of gamesmanship.
