No way he gets in. Though with No.1 ranking, two slams in singles and four in doubles, strictly achievement-wise, he'd be much more deserving HOFer than the likes of Noah and Chang.
Bruguera won't get in either but rightfully so—his record off clay is beyond abysmal.

IMHO, none of them deserve to be in the Tennis HOF. But then, this HOF is a joke!
True. HOF is called HOF for a reason these names don't belong in there.

I assume Mauresmo is nominated for her achievements as a coach, not as a player.

Pierce >>> Mauresmo
Kafelnikov >>>>>> Bruguera
Mauresmo was world # 1 for 39 week while Pierce never got that close and Mauresmo was in the top 10 for 10 straight year and in the top 5 for close to 6 years unlike Pierce

AO

W

Silver medal

YEC closest Mary got to one of these

she and Pierce won the Fed Cup

Mauresmo won 25 titles to Pierce's 18.More Masters Series for Mauresmo

WRONG! Most sports HOF are reserved for the very best of the best players. There has to be a tough standard to have a meaningful HOF. How does Yuri, Amelie, or Bruguera'a accomplishments compare to the likes of: Laver, Federer, Rosewall, Sampras and Nadal? Amelie won two slams one year. She had 2 top players default before she reached the finals against an ill Henin. Her Wimbledon win was well deserved, but how does 2 slams compare to the 18 of Evert or Navratilova, never mind those of Wills, Court or Graf?

I'm not very well informed about US sports. How many HOFers do they have in MLB, NBA, NLF and NHL?

You can't have a hall of fame with just 5 guys in it, first of all.

Kafelnikov is a multiple slam champ, former #1, and Olympic Gold Medalist, not sure off the top of my head if he won the Masters also. What else does he need to do?

Bruguera and Amelie are also both multi-slam champions. Why should they NOT be in? Do you have any clue how many people MTF would call "mugs" are in the Newport HOF?

A fuckton

Though the MLB HOF has been a bit more exclusive in the last 10 years or so due to the Steriod Era.
