Good list, very agreeable. I'd maybe have Nishikori over Gonzalez... maybe, but aside from that looks perfect to me.

Just another stupid thread to bash ferrer who is easily one of the best if not the best player without a slam.

Your list was going so well... and then you mention Robredo. Ouch.

in no real order (ignoring doubles results);

David Ferrer
Miroslav Mecir
Raul Ramirez
Marcelo Rios
Tom Okker
Nikolay Davydenko
David Nalbandian
Tomas Berdych
Brian Gottfried
Tommy Haas

HM: Tim Henman, Henri Leconte, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga

Beyond that, players either had a lowish peak ranking, only really excelled at one slam or had a fairly short stint in the top 10. Given their importance in multiple Davis Cup campaigns, the next best may arguably be Philippoussis and Corretja, but both have slights against them when looking at the above criteria.

Rios, Nalbandian, Davydenko and Mecir are the indisputable top 4.

Corretja, Tsonga, Leconte, Soderling, Henman, Ferrer, Berdych, Grosjean and Gonzalez all have solid claims to make up the remaining 6 spots.

I'd go

Soderling
Corretja
Tsonga
Ferrer
Berdych
Henman

Tommy Haas deserves at least an honorable mention in my opinion

Todd Martin and Mark Philippoussis made it to 2 grand slam finals, so they should be in the Top 10, no?

Rios
Mecir
Nalbandian
Davydenko
Martin
Philippoussis
Soderling
Corretja
Berdych
Ferrer

Will leave out Tsonga because he is not consistent as Berdych and Ferrer.
Will leave out Henman because he never made it to a Grand Slam final.
