Considering this TMC has had some delightful servings of roast duck and roast piggy, lets look back at the best roastings of 2007. RonE is getting pretty obese from all these servings but hes enjoying every single one more than ever.

A few nominations:

Federer def Roddick 6-4 6-0 6-2 (AO)
Gonzalez def Nadal 6-2 6-4 6-3 (AO)
Haas def Roddick 6-3 6-2 (Memphis)
Nalbandian def Nadal 6-2 6-1 (Madrid)
Nalbandian def Nadal 6-4 6-0 (Paris)
Gasquet def Roddick 6-4 6-4 6-7(2) 6-7(3) 6-8 (Wimbledon)
Chela def Roddick 6-4 6-0 (Rome) Bagelled by Chela :worship:

Some quality roastings there and a few of them were extra crispy. Don't be sad that the roastings are over for another year, there will be many more in 2008 :wavey:

How about a poll? :D

More nominees:

Federer def. Nadal 2-6,6-2,6-0 (Hamburg) first pig roasting in claypot since 2005

Gasquet def. Roddick 4-6,4-6,7-6,7-6,8-6 (Wimbledon) the best part about this roasting was that the duck seemed to be shitting all over Richie but patience won out in the end and it was a long and slow but very thorough roasting of the duck in lemongrass- always a delight

Roast goat...

Nalbandian d. Federer (Paris) 6-4 7-6(3) - Fat Dave might have been overfed on goat, pork and hedgehog, but he was still hungry for more.

Volandri d. Federer (Rome) 6-2 6-4 - Roast goat in a claypot with Italian herbs

Roddick doesn't deserve to be mentioned here, it's been a long time since beating him counted for something.

[1] Gonzo at AO: smashing Rafa like that in a best of 5 format is simply out of this world, and an entire floor was built after that match in the Pork Dork's library of excuses.

[2] Nalbandian in Paris: In Madrid Rafito's performance had made us think something may have been wrong, here we understood exactly what: the Nalbandian matchup. which leads us to...

[3] Nalbandian in Madrid

[4] Federer at TMC

[5] Federer in Hamburg

[6] Federer at Wimbly: not as convincing, but had farther implications.

[7] Ferrer at the Open

[8] Gooch in Sydney: this one is dedicated to our friend GlennMirnyi

[9] Nole in Miami

[10] Nole in Montreal

:haha:

Despite the above quote harboring some truth, my vote still goes to a good Duck Hunt: Federer def Roddick 6-4 6-0 6-2 (AO)

The hunt was miraculous in itself, but extra spice was added by all the hyping-hoopla surrounding it. It's quite stupid to wake up a Lion King like that...

Queens : Mahut def Nadal 7-5, 7-6 (0).

This tie break was fun to watch.
