Brady's vote just may have swayed the election. Federer and Nadal do not have anyone greater than Brady saluting them as the best.

Yeah, but Tom Brady is really Bill Gates in a rubber mask created by the Pentagon as a deep-state plot to hide the malign intentions of the cabal of Satan-worshipping chicken monsters and freemasons who secretly rule the planet.

Sorry, but who's Tom Brady? A star of a sport that is played in 2 countries in the world?
He's the greatest NFL QB of all time. He was still the best QB even at 40. Federer wouldn't know about any of this, since he stopped being the best in his sport at 26.

No one gives a flying fuck about Brady's opinion except for deluded fangirls of Novack.

Purely stats based:-

---------------Djokovic vs Federer:-------------
Grand Slams: 17 vs 20
Masters:
34 vs 28
YEC: 5 vs 6
Titles:
79 vs 103
Weeks at No. 1:
282 vs 310
Davis Cup:
1 vs 1
Hard Court Titles: 59 vs 71
Clay Court Titles:
14 vs 11
Grass Court Titles: 6 vs 19
H2H:
27 vs 23

Ultimately, it is in the balance right now, with an inevitability that Djokovic will claim the statistical edge over Federer and it really would be just an edge. Truth is these are both legends of the game and above all other players in my opinion with Nadal in the mix as well of course.

One GOAT saluting another - thanks Tom

And of course the Europeans don't know who he is, they're too busy watching handball or waterpolo or some other meaningless sport

What is this? Many of these are irrelevant. Nobody cares about 250 and 500 events, junior. Also, Federer has a 6 year head start over Djokovic. I advise you to thread, "The Achievements of the Big 3 on their 33rd. birthday" for a comprehensive and unbiased look at the achievements when they were all the same age and the relevant stats only.

This makes no sense, considering Tom Brady IS the greatest in his sport.
Who cares about that so called sport?

And Rod Laver calls Roger the GOAT
And they both could be right at the moment.

In fact, there is no doubt Federer is still the goat (20 slams, 310 weeks, 6 WTF, 28 masters, 31 slam final).

If Nadal wins his 20th slam this or the next year, we can talk about his co-goathood and even with 21 slams Nadal would still be a co-goat IMO (because of Federer's 310 weeks, 6 WTF, the number of slam finals/semis).

33 y.o. Djokovic, on the other hand, is the most successful player by the 33rd birthday (and arguably also the goat by that same age with the most slam finals & semis reached and masters+WTF titles combined), despite many tournaments missed after his 30th birthday due to injuries and then (still as no.1) because of Corona, so, arguably he is also the best in history or at least in the open era, because of his 56 big titles compared to 54 big titles of five years older Goaterer, and because of his h2h vs CC goat and Grass/HC goat (now HC co-goat with Djokovic).

It is still possible that (unlike 26 y.o. Borg, 27 y.o. Sampras, 31 y.o. Laver) Nadal or Djokovic will not reach a co-goat or goat status even for a single day, despite being more successful than 33/34 y.o. Federer, who has become the undisputed goat after Wimb.'09 and his 15th slam title, + 4 WTF + 15 Masters, being still 27 y .o. as was Sampras after his 12th slam, as could also be the case with any future goat contender, because amassing 11 slams (Borg), 14 (Sampras) or even 20/21 slam titles would not be enough for their undisputed goathood anymore (unless they introduce the fifth slam to make it easier to amass 21/22 slams by the 30th birthday) .
