Close call for Ferrero. He had to serve to stay in the match down 4-6, 4-5, but turned it up from there. I am also happy, I think, to see Hrbaty knocked out since I thought he would be a greater challenge to Juan Carlos than Horna will be. But I could be wrong. Luis did beat Federer in Paris, after all.

Besides Ferrero and Coria, who's left? This field has been decimated!

Ferrero saved 2 mp. Cermak didn't have power to play in the last set because in the first and second set he run to everything. Horna played great too. His match ws the best today on the center court.

Now who actually thought Mutis was going to live up to his seeding? Well done, Olivier.
