V. Voltchkov(BLS) - S. Sargsian(ARM) 5-7 - 2-3

Edit:

Anybody have details on what kind of arm injury Voltchkov suffered yesterday? I can't believe he's 100% today if he had to retire from doubles yesterday.

Voltchkov now plays in his third straight quarterfinal after collecting the 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 win against Sargsian.

Voltchkov was treated during the match for a sore right elbow, while Sargsian started battling muscle cramps in the middle of the second set. After taking a bathroom break at the end of the second set, Sargsian returned to the court and attempted to continue the match, but could not continue after Voltchkov's first service game of the third set.
