I don't know about always, since he has had some really bad losses. :lol:Thomaz won both his singles rubbers for Brazil over Colombia to help the country advance 4-1 into the World Group playoffs! Thomaz came from two sets down to defeat Falla 2-6 3-6 6-1 6-4 6-3 and in his reverse singles rubber, defeated Giraldo 6-2 7-6 6-2 to clinch the tie for the Brazilians. Davis Cup brings the best out of Thomaz as he plays with tons of energy and the motivation of playing for his country keeps his positive and fighting throughout the match. In September Brazil plays Russia at home so the team has a great chance to re-enter the World Group for the first time since 2003!
Thomaz' next ATP tournament will be Monte Carlo next week. Hopefully he takes the positive feeling gained from Davis Cup and has a good result in the Masters 1000 event.
