I was not aware that Taylor Dents new coach responsible for him getting his first title at newport is Australian. Maybe Marat should consider training in Oz or hiring a Aussie coach cuz he's making me cry right now.

Out in the quarters:sad: although Paradorn played well as I understand it from the articles. Any Russian posters who saw the match?

Maybe its because Australia used to have a lot of good tennis players years ago, and now they're old enough to coach. I must say that Darren Cahill did an excellent job with Lleyton Hewitt, and hes doing all right with Andre, but then Andre doesnt need help hes good anyway.

Although Lleyton's new coach is also Australian! I don't think he'd ever have a coach that wasn't Australian actually, he is very intensely patriotic and probably wouldn't like a coach that wasn't on his side in David Cup!

Personally I suspect it's the "work hard, play hard, then have a beer together" attitude which makes Aussies good coaches. Also sports-related careers might be higher status here since we are so sports-crazy which always leads to getting some good people into a profession.
