28 Opelka to beat Gojowczyk @ 2.20 (4 units to win 4.8 units)

The 6'11" American is going to be a good player at this level in the future; armed with one of the biggest serves in the game and a pretty decent ground-game as well as good movement for someone of his size. He's not lost his first match at an event since Washington last year (inc CHs), and has picked up some handy wins in that time too. Indian Wells and the dry, thin desert-air should prove to his liking if he's in the groove on serve and should have the crowd-support with him here too of course. Gojo himself has struggled to make the transition to the main-tour from being a good CH player, winning just one MD match since January 2015 (bt Almagro indoors in Metz last year), so this has the feel of a lower-level match on a bigger stage and i'm taking the up-and-comer at a good price.

Good luck.

Has BP against fading opponent @ 1-1 in the third, misses it, goes on insane tilt losing last 5 games. Fun.

29 Giraldo to beat Struff @ 2.20 (4 units to win 4.8 units)

Qualifiers (vs auto-entries) went 4/5 on day-one here which is a good sign to back a couple more here today, starting off with the Colombian. He has generally been a one-man circus-show this season, just one win on the main-tour and cursing anything and everyone in his path, but a couple of wins in qualies are a decent sign that his head's in good place this week and he's going to be used to conditions. Struff has also started the season slowly after a good finish to 2016 and is going to be low on confidence too, so this has potential to be a chaotic chokefest, which I love.

30 Gaio to beat Anderson @ 5.3 (3 units to win 12.9 units)

Again going with the qualifier here. Gaio not exactly someone who you'd rush to back heavily on hardcourts normally, but these seem like different circumstances. He's beaten Stakhovsky and Gombos as pretty sizable favourite over the last couple of days, and also worth mentioning his good run in Quito where he made the quarters in what are also quick conditions despite being a claycourt-tournament, so this could be the sort of scenario that suits him. Anderson has yet to win on his comeback; a loss to Del Potro understandable but also Dzumhur took him out a few weeks ago, so Kev's confidence won't be at it's best and with his high-risk gamestyle, he needs to be feeling good for it all to click.

31 Paire to beat Fritz @ 2.10 (3 units to win 3.3 units)

I just cannot resist the Paire freakshow.

Good luck.

Just feel like value is the best strategy right now, the only way I can get some kind of decent profit from small stakes. The way things are going, I can't be bothered backing faves for substantial stakes and then having a heart-attack while following these clowns getting broken when serving for the match, or whatever else. There is nobody that is reliable out there anymore, not in 2017.

47 Del Potro to beat Djokovic @ 3.45 (1 unit to win 2.45 units)
48 Verdasco to beat Nadal @ 5.50 (1 unit to win 4.5 units)
49 Johnson to beat Federer @ 8.0 (1 unit to win 7 units)
50 Sock to beat Dimitrov @ 3.0 (2 units to win 4 units)

Good luck.

3 losses, 5 wins.

2017 Record: 19-37-2 (-34.40 units)

Had too much faith in the wrong guys, Jaziri a couple of points from winning but couldn't get it done and Nishioka losing despite serving for it twice, close to a very decent day.

Stan just trolls me for a living I think, he's the absolute past-master. In-play betting on that one would have been fun I imagine...
