naah, no gossip involved. Since we are all obviously angels here :p
Next time we should make a reservation for Sport Caffe and watch some matches together. It was packed for the finals.
Yeah, we could do it for the 4th round,I think that would be Tuesday or Wednesday, hopefully he gets there...it should be against Gonzo or Canas...

I'm sorry I couldn't come! :awww:

Hi! Welcome! :D

I've been planing to go to Sydney and visit relatives for many years now (they live in Cecile Hills or sth like that :p ), but I think it might happen in January'09 :D
And ofcourse if I go to AUS in 10 months, I won't miss the great chance to go to Melbourne and AO.

:wavey:
Jelena (and everyone else!) - January is the best time to come to Sydney :) Lazy summer days - everyone is in holiday/chilling out/party mode, and of course the weather is great :D

I would like to go to Australia one day, but I fear your Summer heat would kill me! I'm one of these people who think it's too hot as soon as it gets about 25 C :)

I'm not great with hot weather either. I remember watching a Lleyton Hewitt match and it got to over 40 degrees on the court, I don't know how he kept playing because I got physically sick from the heat, just by sitting there watching.

You can always stay in the air-conditioned comfort of shopping centres and only venture outside early or late in the day! It's nice to have dinner on a cafe along the beach and it's still bright (but not hot) at 8pm.

Yes - that sounds more like me, though would be hard to watch tennis at the Open from an air-conditioned room  One of my friends married an Australian guy and went to live in Perth. She found the weather really hard to cope with at first, but she's more used to it now, though she does have to be careful with her skin, as she has very fair skin and red hair, and burns very easily. Being near the sea is great I think - I love to walk by the sea in the evenings, when its' quiet, and listen to the waves :)

From your description I can easily have a vivid picture in head. I always love the peaceful feelings summer ocean would bring to me.
It would be great if I could live near the sea. I've been Dover and Brighton, very crowded:p
I was at College in Portsmouth, and then lived on the Isle of Skye and also for sometime in Aberdeen, so I'm very used to being by the sea:) Sadly British coastal resorts are not quite as pleasant for weather as Krondor's Australian ones, but strangely I quite like walking along a cold, deserted beach in Winter with the wind blowing through my hair, and no one else around

I love Brighton:) I have some relatives there, and also a lot of friends, and go down there a lot for weekends.

When I was 15, back in high school...here in Belgrade a radio station (100,4 FM) was very popular! They had at least 8 hours of program in English (maybe more-I can't remember  I must be old  )
with people from England leading the show, and my favourite one was a guy named Paul (Blackmore) from Brighton...so ever since I wish to go there...and I believe it's a nice place, having beaches ... :)

Hi everyone.
OK. Time to make this thread more confusing.
For all of you that don't know, I'm Jelena (I think that's four now) and I'm Serbian too, but I live in Melbourne.
I don't exactly remember when I first heard of Janko, but I think I became a fan around 2006. Can't wait to see his ranking rise.
OK, I have nothing else to say. I hate introductions, too .

Yes - there are loads of beaches in Brighton, but not sandy beaches - mostly pebbles, so not too comfortable to sit or walk on. Brighton is best known here for it's nightlife - loads of pubs, Bars and clubs, and live music venues. It also has an area called The Lanes, which is an old shopping area full of quaint little shops, antique stores, and some lovely (very expensive!) boutiques for clothes.

So wait, we need a specific thing about all of you so that we know which Jelena we are talking about.

Jelena, Dule's no.1 fangirl. Ok. :p
Croatian Jelena - or at least Jelena with a Croatian flag.
Kuki.
Australian Jelena.

This helps. :D

You people might thing that every girl in Serbia is called Jelena. It is a very common name, but not THIS common as in here

I'm happy with Kuki, after all this is how my classmates called me since they couldn't pronounce my last name, and cookie was the closest they managed.
