6-4 6-7(6) 6-7(3) R1 loss in Stockholm to Nalbandian.

6-4 6-7(4) 4-6 QF loss to Tsonga in Vienna.

2-6 6-4 5-7 R1 loss to Djokovic in Basel.

Just think if he had a decent level of mental strength, self-belief and ability to close out matches. Dude can play with and beat anyone and has done really little with the amount of game he has.

Malisse isn't actually that good, a bit overrated by some. He done had a horrendous temperament which has undoubtedly held him back to a degree.

Muglisse isn't as talented as some clowns here claim - otherwise he'd achieve more

he can hang with the best on this sort of surface.

he's not fit or athletic enough to consistently compete on the ubiquitous slow as ass high bouncing surfaces on tour though.

modern game doesn't suit him.

look at his record in miami. it's pretty awful even though it's practically a home event for him.
