In my opinion, Soderling is the one who most intervened in Nadal, Federer and Davydenko's careers without question.

-Without Soderling, Nadal would conceivably have won RG 2009 and have an unbelievable unbeaten record at the slam, the longest winning streak at a GS of all time and a stronger argument for GOAT status.
-Without Soderling, Federer would conceivably have not won RG 2009, would not have the Career Slam, although his slam SF streak would have been lengthened by one. His argument for GOAT status would be severely weakened.
-Without Soderling, Davydenko would conceivably have had a run at the RG 2009 title, facing a weak Nadal in the QF, a very favorable match-up against Gonzalez in the SF, and a vulnerable Federer in the final. However, without Soderling, Davydenko would not have his biggest title, the WTF.

Thoughts?

If Söderling never played tennis, dinosaurs would be still alive...

Any kind of logic is missing in this thread

Mega lolz at the suggestion Davydenko would have done something as relevant as beat Nadal at RG :rolls:

The other two are undeniable though :yeah:

Without Soderling, Norman would never have coached Stan the man and Nadal would have won the AO 2014, his 15th slam only 1 slam behind Federer.
Also, Gonzalez could have won RG 2009 which would make him favourite for the AO 2007 (less pressure) and Federer would have only 15 slams as well and Nadal would have equalled him.

Thoughts?

gonzalez was up a break in the fifth (iirc) then soderling started goating thankg god, soderling failing to reach the final after beating nadal would've been a disgrace
but no way gonzalez would have beaten federer in RG final, no way
