With the TMS Paris + Masters Cup points coming off this week we are in a situation where the provisional number 8 (Canas) is only 80 or so points ahead of 16 (Ljubo)

Looking even further down it seems if Nalbandian at number 25 were to win Paris he could also climb as high as 8

i know it isn't realistically possible.
If Karlovic manages to pull a miracle here. (i.e to win here.) what could be he his projected ranking.?
He is 23 at the moment.
Also nalabandian has good opportunity to pick up points here. :yeah:

It's starting to really close in at the very top also. Next year should be real close for the No. 1 spot. I think Fed could lose it at some point during the year which hasn't looked likely for a very long time. Although I expect Fed to do well in the slams, I can't see him winning another 3 in the year.

well its all because 3 players fed, nadal and djoko are monopalising vast amounts of points therefore all the players below them are grouped together on similar points totals. it makes it intresting for players ranked 12/18 because if they put in a good result it can see them rise 5/8 places easily.
