With three of the four Slams that will count towards the players ranking for the Race to Beijing Olympics already played, I though it was a good time to start keep tracking which players are in position to qualify to play for their countries in China. I'll try to update the standings on a regular basis all the way to Roland Garros, which will determine the final order. If you do spot any mistakes, please let me know. :)

Great thread Ville !!!

Very hard to predict who will be the last two players for Spain... Based on current form i think Almagro is the favorite for one of them since most of upcoming events are on clay. I'd bet one Verdasco for the 4th spot.

For France, Simon is the favorite for 4th ticket as he can play pretty well everywhere. But Llodra is not really a mug on clay...
Simon 55% / Llodra 45%

Argentina: Canas should do it. I don't rate Chela very high, so i have the feeling Acasuso will make it.

Thanks for starting this thread well in advance. :)

It should be a "sticky" thread, I think.

Spain has 8 players in the Top 28 in this table at the moment and only 4 can make it to Beijing

also France would have 10 players in the games, if there were no country limitations

Petzschner should have 360 I think?
yep, he has 360

Some players with 320-390 points that aren't among Top 4 in their country might be missing from the list, I'll add them if they make progress in the following weeks/months.
