If he moved as well as Sinner, would it have mattered today if he took Sinner's place?. He does other things better than Sinner.

 

Berdych was a great player, but a bit slow and mentally weak to win Grand Slams. Also he had not much variety.
I would not compare Berdych to Sinner.

 

Movement is the most important thing though, you can't just mention it as as afterthought.

Sinner wouldn't have even lost 4 games in any set against the AO 2009 Federer.

 

In the US Open Finals He got breadstick by alcaraz and lost the first set 6-2.. Roger Federer would do him as bad as alcaraz did in the US open Finals.... Federer like Alcaraz is levels above sinner..

 

berdych and sinner are both overrated. berdshit could only beat olderer in 2010 wimby because this is when olderer's first major decline in movement happened. Same with eldervic, big movement decline and sinner finally gets a big win over him when at the ripe old age of 37.

 

The difference between peak Fed and peak Berdych, is the same as peak Alcaraz and peak Sinner.
