Haha not many AFL fans around obviously. I guess when you are limited to Australia it makes it hard.

Anyway, looking for back to back Premierships this year.

GO my beloved mighty Cats.

Off to my first game of the year tomorrow and to Geelong next week for the unfurling of our Premiership flag next Sunday :yippee:

Great game to go to Peta... a sure win for you Cats... in fact I suspect a massacre.

Bloody disappointed with my team this weekend (Eagles). :(
You right about it being a massacre! But unfortunately it wasn't the most enjoyable match for me. I bought my ticket on Ticketmaster online WITH my Geelong membership and asked for the best available seat on the 3rd level... it put me right in the middle of the Essendon reserved seat members  I had the most obnoxious bitch ever next to me who told me all day I was in the wrong seat and spoke crap about Geelong players all day rather than cheering her own team. I can't wait to be back amongst Geelong supporters this weekend!!

I was disappointed with the Eagles last week to because I tipped them thinking they'd do good job. To lose that easily was a bit of a shock.

Afl :haha:

You know NRL shits all over afl right?

afl shittest sport invented
Well you go and post an NRL thread then :) I'll happily come in and also talk about the mighty Roosters. If I lived in Sydney then I'd love rugby league a lot more, but being Victorian I've been brought up to love AFL :wavey: There is enough room in this country for both ;)

Good pick Langers :yeah: I gave them a chance but wasn't game enough to tip them. I did want them to win though... I don't mind the Doggies too much.
I went off to work when the Dogs were down by about 5 goals, thought it was all over. I get home to see the Doggies won by about 5 goals!

Very pleased with this tip! I don't rate the Saints at all and I figured they both play a similar style and at the moment the Dogs are playing a little better.

Hats of Langers for that tip! I was really unsure with that match and bowed in and tipped the Saints :(

Fingers crossed for the mighty Eagles this weekend... it's going to be a close one! I hope the presence of two Selwoods will get us over the line :p

:worship: The Selwoods  I love the Selwood family :) (Of course I love Joel the most :p). Troy and Adam are awesome though (why have Brisbane dropped Troy for the last 2 weeks ?!?). I really would have loved Geelong to pick up Scott but good luck to him at West Coast, I hope he does great!!!

I don't rate the Saints much at this stage either.... everyone seems to go crazy over the winner of the NAB Cup and it really means nothing compared to the real season  ... maybe they'll be the team to beat NEXT year (afterall we won the NAB Cup in 2006 and had a crap season and then 2007 was AWESOME!).

I love the free-flowing way the Doggies play football... probably the closest in style to Geelong which is why we often play good close matches. I wanted to tip them last night, but I wasn't convinced yet about how good they were. Maybe I won't chicken out next time :)
