I also don't put much as much stock into this & prefer record book miIestones such as the GoIden Masters & hopefuIIy soon HC majors record and/or DCGS."Player of the decade" didn't win even the single Olympic medal in the 10s, let alone gold which is mandatory. He still achieved much more than Murray The Olympic King at slams and masters, so I guess he did deserve this award regardless, but his award remains highly asterisked.
