Israel made attempt to murder President of Venezuela? Seriously? <img src="https://www.tennisforum.com/images/smilies/laugh.gif" border="0" alt="" title="lol" class="inlineimg" />

My logics fails. As Israelis are known to hunt nazies, which are gone, by and large by now. Or the modern closest equivalent of nazies - islamists. And Maduro, as much of a thief and corruptioner he is, falls in neither category. Dang..

Source is Venezuela's Minister of Communication :spit: Maduro is a Castro's school advanced pupil, known for staging, or simply claiming, "assesination attempts" every second day

There are videos though of this 3467580 coup-attempt!

You don't seem surprised that the USA tried to murder the President of Venezuela though, only surprised that the Zionist occupation would try to do it, why?

Or jets. J20, "5th" generation. Look up the first Russian 5th generstion MiG1.44 project design, 30 years old. A sibling, huh? Probably the first blueprint you guys managed to get your hands on. Or J31 and F35? Another siblings. And, suddenly, you buy Rusdian SU-35. 4th generation. They say, because Chinese 5th generation engines are so shit comparing to Russian 4th generation ( leave alone American 5th ), so, again reverse engineering to the rescue.
LOL, a lot of engineers from Russia and Titanic Ukrainic) have been working in China, developing space and aviation equipment. That might explain some things.

In recent years, a lot of students studying overseas returned home. So, now China has a very educated and disciplined labor force to work with, potentially capable to innovate on top of existing tech. Also, the government provides generous funding for Chinese researchers and scientists. I guess time will tell if China can transform from a fast learner to a true innovator in major tech fields. I feel that this new cold war started too late and there will be no winners at the end.

It has been postponed.

Trump Allows U.S. Sales to Huawei as Trade Talks Resume

"Allowed" with a small print, that excludes anything that can potentially compromise US national security.
I don't think Trump will give away much. This is probably the last chance. If three days later Trump decides, that China's negotiating tactics are not about reaching a deal but in line with Chinese tradition still directed at deception, procrastination and trying to win time against his presidency, the response will be crushing. I consider this little detente as preface to a worse escalation.

It also involved the compromise of the Chinese to buy more agricultural products from the US. American farmers were under heat with the Chinese tariffs on their products, prompting Trump to subside them, something that was/is being quite expensive for the US government.

Trump can't afford to lose the farmers considering rural America is the backbone of his support.

So, Trump can clearly claim a victory here. But that's just the first step, first blood. US will not stop, will push for more. The ultimate goal is to stop China growth happening at expense of other countries.
This is the equivalent of Reagan-Gorbachev Reykjavik.
