Watching tennis and these new balls and cold condition make pros plays way more dropshots than b4.
What players will benefit from this? The touch players. Of course, who are they.?

Yes, it has been mentioned by many commies that the dropshot will be a very significant factor in these conditions; used well it is on clay in other conditions too.
Denis was hitting some beauties.
Rafa Djok Diego there are others of course who pull it off.
When it's so hard to hit winners, end points with the dropshot!

Nadal played better drop shots than Federer in the 2009 AO Final.
Also remember that 2018 Wimbledon QF between Nadal and Del Potro, that was the best drop shots I've ever seen from a tennis player, Nadal played an extraordinary amount of drop shots and they were all pin point accuracy.

Ok the pros that are not so successful with dropshots ;
Djokovic.... He does it too often so no surprise effect, and can start missing them...
Vs Ymer he made 100... Almost... Ymer was clueless though

Rafa makes them too seldom but has great touch

Berrettini is good

Zverev can't do it successfully

Thiem quite good

Watch some ladies play they outdropshot like crazy.
Ball bounce less when cold plus heavier ball

King was toying with Ymer with the dropshots, getting good practice in the for the later rounds to use it to perfection.
Right, because only slighter better versions of Ymer are his projected opponents till the F.....

Maybe that is how clay court tennis should be played to begin with?

Little did they know in 2006 and then again in 2007 that when they tried to speed up the courts to help Federer it actually ended up helping Nadal.

Best drop shotter was Janowicz in his Paris run, just fucking spammed them like hell. Works well in combination with bashing

Djokovic’s drop shots have massively improved. Maybe he spent a lot of time during the break fine tuning them but yes - his drop shots next to Diego’s are currently the best.

I can confirm drop shotting is the Goat technique.
