Here is a thread devoted to all those tournaments where the real heroes are being unnamed (unseeded).
Last event Round 2 in Rotterdam. In first round we lost 4 seeds: Murray, Youzhny, Ferrero and Baghdatis. The second round saw the death of remaining 4: Ferrer, Berdych, Davydenko and Nadal.
When and where was the last tournament without seeds in QF ? Voo ?

At least Haase is left for the Dutch fans...but sheesh.

I don't know who I am rooting for now. Ivo or Verdasco?

Good question...
Dr. Ivo for me. :rocker2:
And Robin, of course (but I wouldn't be surprised if he were gone after this evening as well... :scared:)

Krajicek - already commented that he's very disappointed in the outcome of the tournament so far (but didn't blame any player, and rightly so).

Perhaps he should just organize an exho Nadal - Hewitt next year.

It is so open now. I think Karlovic or Soderling will take the title now.

Im lucky that I went yesterday and saw nadal hewitt berdych ljubo tipsa. Not much left for the people that are going tomorrow. You won't buy expensive tickets for llodra seppi zverev gabashvili simon.

robin has to save the day.

The last time that there were no seeded players left in the QF line-up of an ATP event was at Nottingham in 2006.

That set of results actually took place a week later at BA in 2002.

Ok, who was it? Who threw the universe out of whack today?!

I expected if of Davydenko and Berdych, but not Ferrer. And certainly not Rafa! :tape: What is going on?

It's just one of those days. Look at WTA Doha (I know, I know - "women don't play tennis" (c) GlennMirnyi)- Ana out, Kutzy out, Chaky out, Venus out, Safina and Peer also, not to mention headcase MoMo

When you combine the men's and women's seeds who have lost so far- this has to be a record or something for a week of non Grand slam or combined tournaments in terms of seeds out by the quarters.
