It's interesting that when Nadal won it, Federer gave him his toughest match of the tournament that year. That was actually a fantastic match between the two.

2013: Federer 6-0, 7-6(7)
2015: Federer 7-6(1) 6-3

5th final including 3 losses to Federer. I don't think any other player hasn't won a tournament after losing the final 3 times to the same player.
Andy Murray lost the Austalian Open final to Novak Djokovic three times: in 2011, 2013 and 2015.

That needs updating in the OP as well. :p

Andy Murray Australian Open
2010: Federer 6-3, 6-4, 7-6(11)
2011: Djokovic 6-4, 6-2, 6-3
2013: Djokovic 6-7(2), 7-6(3), 6-3, 6-2
2015: Djokovic 7-6(5), 6-7(4), 6-3, 6-0
2016: Djokovic 6-1, 7-5, 7-6(3)
Murray has now the Open era overall record (tied with Djokovic) and the all time GS record for this 'close but no cigar' feature

If he wins a 3rd USO that will be very quickly forgotten, and an irrelevant stat. He should win this match anyway.
