I honestly think Biden is one of the weakest Democratic candidates ever... His empty words of "uniting Amercia" is cringeworthy, and I actually believe the old fucker is serious. But let's see, maybe Biden has some surprises up his sleeve. Here is what he needs to do:

• Arrest Trump and his corrupt entourage
• Undo everything Trump has done. Luckily, that should not take much time, since the only thing Trump actually has done is having a big mouth on Twitter and maybe installing that red button to order a coke in the White House
• Stock up the Surpreme Court with at least 2 progressive judges
• Handle the Covid crisis. This should be relatively easy, too, because Trump fucked it up so much. He just need to let experts speak, imply some harder measures and show some empathy for the people who passed away. Once the vaccine is distributed, he will be the hero.
• Disarm the gun loving nutcases: A difficult task, Obama failed with this. But the NRA is nearly broke, and the MAGA ******** are still making their ways out of their own pile of salt.
• Defund the police
• Stop kissing the asses of crazy dictators, but still avoiding to start needless wars
• Start the green revolution and get rid of old, nature harming ways to win energy sources.

Let's see what Biden can do in the upcoming 4 years. I think that is all the time he has got - except Trump is actually running 2024, of course. But even I doubt the republicans will be that dumb to fall into the same trap twice.

A few key things they should be working on:

• Rolling out a better Medicare package, potentially moving toward National Healthcare.
• Dealing with Spiralling Student Loans, introduce a standard price for universities.
• Getting rid of Fracking & move towards a reduction in fossil fuel usage.

A key thing is not to let the the Progressives get control of the Democratic party, they need to make sure there are diverse voices in universities, free speech is maintained.

I lived in the US and would live there again. Day to day life is good and people get along (as I'm sure also happens where you live). They are surely at a low point right now but problems are overblown by the media (as I'm also sure happens everywhere —problems are newsworthy, non-problems are not).

This is a horrible list, but I will give you credit for starting the new thread as the old one has become one of the worst that I've ever seen. It should be sealed in a tomb and burned, never to be spoken of again.

The most important thing that Biden can, and probably will, do to make a difference is to reengage with the international community on some important global issues like climate change, nuclear non-proliferation, the WTO, the WHO, etc. This is where we are more likely to see a sustained positive difference.

Domestically, there's not much he can do to push a radical agenda. Maybe push some modest new infrastructure spending and green energy plans, which would be fine. He'll ramp up a lot of unnecessary regulation and red tape to show how "tough on business" he is, unfortunately, but it shouldn't be too damaging. Probably a $1T or so stimulus at the beginning of 2021.

He's also going to need to throw these woke critical theory nuts a bone. It'll be something ceremonial, like a Federal Chief Diversity officer with some sort of bloated new bureaucracy which will be a total waste of money but not have any real power to screw things up.

Those parasite countries, like Benelux ones, Switzerland, all those Scandinavian collective farms camouflaged as countries, who existed mostly at expense of others are going down.
What do they give to the world right now to prop that standards of living? Less and less. China, other Asia and US are plucking their economies like a hen. Volvo is now Chinese. Nokia and Ericsson are Swedish and Finnish in name only. Switzerland will no longer take advantage of being a private bank for criminals and tax evaders. All of that is going, going, gone.
US is still at least home to biggest corporations. How many of Top 20 market cap corps are American? Like 16? I wouldn't worry about USA
