Who do you think out of the current ATP players has the best

Serve, Volley, Forehand, Backhand and Return

I think best serve would have to be split between Roddick and Mark P. I would of said Safin but he barely gets it in :)

Volley i would say Rafter but considering his "semi retirement" i have to say Henman

Forehand tough to say but i reckon Juan Carlos Ferrero considering thats all he hits most of the match :D

Backhand well best onehander is between Guga and Tommy Haas and best two hander is defintely Safin.

Best Return i reckon is Agassi without a doubt although Hewitt would be a close second.

Serve - any given serve at one time, Arthurs. Over the course of a slam or during an important moment of a match? Sampras or Goran.

Backhand - Guga or Safin depending on the handedness

Volley - I will say Tim by default, but I would think that someone like Mirnyi might volley every bit as good as he does.

Forehand - Ferrero or Moya

Return - Agassi, unless the opponent is Pete.

If he played more than once a year, I'm sure I would compliment Krajicek's volley over Tims.

By the way, Rafter is not semi retired.

He is retired and has been for sometime :p

LMFAO :D

Ok here is mine:

Serve- Wayne Arthurs/Pete Sampras

Return- Fernando Gonzalez (if you saw the match in Basel against Ferrero you know what i mean. Its ruthless).

Forehand- Moys probably, i would say Fernando also but i sound too biased :D

Volley- Rafter :D;)

Backhand- Marat or Guga.

You might want to keep in mind

1 - his record against Ferrero
2 - Ferrero, while I respect his serve, he's no wayne arthurs

So I wouldn't guage his return on that one match.

Best serve- Pete and Marat
Forehand- Ferrero, Marat
Backhand- Marat, Guga and Ferrero
Volley- Tim
Return- Andre and Marat

As you've noticed Marat is all over. He's not the best at everything, but if you have to name a player who has all the shots it's him.

Serve- Pete Sampras or Richard Krajicek

Volley- Max Mirnyi

Forehand- Carlos Moya (more topspin, more powerful, better drops shot forehand, more consistent that JCF IMHO)

Backhand - Roger Federer has every backhand in the book but Lleyton Hewitt's two hander is very deep, precise, with great angles and has incredible accuracy on those passers.

Return- Hewitt, Hewitt, Hewitt
