Roger already arrived in Paris, so I thought it would be appropriate to get the tournament thread started :)

Good luck to our champ for the second Grand Slam tournament of the year :cheerleader:

Oops, a bit unfortunate, the name on the box :)

Glad to see him getting a feel for the Parisian terre battue already.

No much of expectations here, just a QF/SF would be very satisfying for me and I wouldn't be too disappointed if he loses in R4 or earlier, I'm not expecting him to win the tournament.

I'm really looking forward to Wimbledon, that's a tournament where I really think he can win. And I hope he won't disappoint there.

QF is my hope. Then he passes Connors for sole possession of first. He'll own every QF/SF/F record in GS history. Never been done before.

Pretty good draw for Roger
R1: Lacko
R2: Qualifier
R3: Tursunov/Querrey
R4: Gulbis/Youzhny
Quarter Final: Berdych/Isner
Semi Final : Djokovic/Nishikori/Raonic/ Tsonga
Pretty good lead up tothe semis but one match at a time
The good thing is that he avoided Nadal.
Roger and Lacko have played once, back at the Australian Open in 2011 where Roger won 6-1 6-1 6-3 but Lacko has been playing alright this year.
