Is it true karlovic has complained that the court is too slow?

Fish seems to love playing in australia, something tells me he is a good thing tonight.
I heard he did..was also complaining about the heat and humidity even though it is even that bad this year..Karlovic has only hit 34 aces which is very unimpressive for his standards. Youzhny is also 26-13 vs big servers in 2006/2007/2008.

34 is not bad but still sometimes he makes more
He has 34 aces in 2 matches now (8 sets).

Last US Open he had 38 in one match (5 sets), Wimbledon 1 match 31 aces (5 sets)and even at Roland Garros he already had 52 aces after 2 matches (9 sets). A year ago he played only 1 match (3 sets) and hit 22 aces. So yeah, this is bad for his standards. He is playing a lot of longer points and loses many points on serve and if Ivo has to start playing rallies he is just a mediocre player.

Against Sela he only managed to get 63% of his first serves in, winning 82% and a terrible 49% on his second. Against Baker he had a first serve % of 60 and scored 75 and 58% on his 1st and 2nd. This isn't impressive at all. I know Youz struggled a bit against Seppi but I think he will cover the -3.5 handicap here and I'm taking it with medium stakes.

PHM over Koubek 4/7 -I just dont think koubek will be good enough to beat the inform frenchman, whenever koubek gets semi-deep in a slam he freezes, this is what i will be banking on here.

Youzny over Karlovic 4/9- Cant find a better price anywhere...Karlovics admission of not liking the court swayed it for me.

Shark over Fish 5/6- Not a good match up for mardy...Jarkko can edge it for me.

Tsonga*Rezai*Vaidisova 10/11

Demented over Peer 4/5- Will probs go to a deciding set.. but i still believe that Demented is the 3rd best baseliner in the world behind henin and serena.

FISH over Niemo @2.00, 10 units
I can't see a surrender Fish here. If you take a look at the statistics, I just can see 2 stunning performance for the american in the latest rounds; despite the finn wasn't so brilliant against Dancevic and unknown Levine. I fancy attacking behaviour by Mardy. Possible next round: Roddick (or Kohlie).

MATHIEU x TSONGA x VAIDISOVA x LAY 3-0 Youzhny-Dr.Ivo @2.80, 5 units
I fear only PHM in this combo

Kohli @4.35 with low stakes.

I rarely play this kind of odds, but
I think Kohli has a nice chance :) here.Roddick looked terrible in his first 2 matches, and Kohli is the in form man.Won a title last week and still didnt lose a set at AO.
I know he is a choker,a headcase,and I'm not expecting him to win,but,at these odds,and based on what I saw in Roddick-Berrer match,its definitely worth a try.

Also...

Does anyone know why PHM retired against potro last week because i reckon his baseline slugfest with koubek will be a gruesome affair.

Even though an injury free PHM tempts me at 4/7 with paddypower...
I was listening to Mats Wilander last night who is currently coaching PHM, he wants him to do some serve + volley, could be interesting

Evening,

As some people have realised i really dont look into prop bets, when you're not going to be folowing the mathces live it can be annoying not being able to 'green up' at certain points.

Tonight i like Andreev and Kohlschreiber as dogs and belive they will keep it close, however not get over the line.

Would people recommend backing the 'over' games markets or the +handicap markets?

Thanks in advance

Seems like the regs have quit posting for the week since the dogs are getting hammered. More and more it seems like betting the dogs seems to work more for 3 set affairs. On the mens side, there have only been 4 upsets the past 2 days. Koubek +105 vs. Calleri, Fish +110 vs. Robredo, Querrey +350 vs. Tursunov, and Janko +220 vs. Verdasco. Just some food for thought.
