Who's Got the Funk...
1. Rafael Nadal
No. 1 on clay, hardcourts, and in your heart.

2. Kim Clijsters
Hoovering-up titles to contend for No. 1 with half the Top 10 injured on the sidelines.

3. Andre Agassi
Coming up just short of the best, something you can't say for the rest of the American men.

4. Greg Rusedski
Grinning Greg hitting his stride on hardcourts in a bounce-back from drug accusations.

5. Daniena Hantuchova
Still needs to eat a burger or two but L.A. final a nice indicator of success going into US Open.

...Who's in the Trunk
5. Maria Sharapova
Back now chest muscle sidelines Russian who will become No. 1 next week.

4. Andy Roddick
King of the non-Masters Series, non-slam events in 2005.

3. Anastasia Myskina
Nine titles last year, none this year losing in lowly Stockholm final.

2. Guillermo Canas
"Free Willy" t-shirts available soon on Tennis-X.com.

1. WTA CEO Larry Scott
'Injuries are normal everybody, just ignore the injuries, ummm -- LOOK OVER THERE, A PLANE CRASH!'

Nice to see some different names (Greg and Daniela) in the Trunk department...although Dani needs a little more in the trunk. ;) I thought she had that first set against Kim (oops...sorry that's WTA).

Nadal "First in your heart", maybe for some, but his machine-like run is not really touching, despite all the fist-pump. Agassi's comeback or Roger's release at Wimby are more likely to get this designation IMO...
