The 2019 Tennis Tipping Most Improved Player of the Year



This poll is to determine who was the most improved TT player in 2019.

The TT Board nominated nine players for this award. If your pick is not included, please vote for the [Other] option and tell us why you believe this player should win.

Silly to vote for alejan here, was decent last year. This should be stat based award.

Also taking in to account the numbers Bebek would be winner but reason he was what he was end of 2018 was he only started.

I am voting for myself here purely for the fact i had a horrible enough 2018 and was a full year....

My vote goes to @Darth Revan on this 1, winning IW singles and US open doubles is part of the reason, but another big reason is how he won, with very risky play!

Plus I'm guessing the doubles 9 from 2018 is a typo (assuming a number missing) , since I have no recollection of such :)

Also @NextGenKing same sort of improvement, but not as long of a journey as former New comer of the Year in 2015.

Happy to see former manager in @abollo have such a great return up the rankings!

@ThomieK had a very impressive season, with results throughout , will be interesting to see how 2020 will treat him with access to all the big events!

and also cuz I picked Thiem over Federer in that IW final
