anyone got a decent spreadsheet for recording tennis bets?

It's a pain in the arse constantly calculating roi, total staked, w-l record etc manually and I'm sure it'd be pretty easy to make a good spredsheet to do it. I can't be arsed fucking around with excel though and doing it myself.

Shoot me a PM with your details and I'll hook you up with one that I use. Simple but should cover off what you need.

what sites are you folks using for research at the moment?

tennisinsight is pretty much dead if you don't want to pay them. It's the best I've ever used by a millions miles in fairness I just don't fancy subscribing.

what alternatives are there?

the tennis talk site posted in here is decent enough.

I echo your thoughts Henry, Tennis Insight is useless now, before during the aussie open I could play with the activity filters comparing players with price ranges on different surfaces etc but now an error box appears saying to use the sctivity filters you must pay which is rubbish.

The tennistalk site is good but the stats are nowhere near what I need to make detailed picks.

Ive been "googling" away for a few days and I cant find anything even close to TennisInsights data/filter ranges. Gutted that even the filters are now locked

In the Odds Comparison section, Oddsportal.com would be a very worthy addition. It includes a lot of the North American-facing sportsbooks that often aren't displayed on other sites.

I know that there are converters online, but does anybody know a quick formula I can use to convert European odds to moneylines? I'd rather just learn to do it in my head.
1/odds
This creates the probability.
Then work out 1 - this figure then divide the first figure by the second.
Make this a negative and x 100 and this caluculates all odds on prices.

Eg

1/1.25
= 0.80 probability
1/0.80 = 0.20 proabability of loss.
Then 0.80/.20
=4 x 100 and make -
=
-400

-400 = $1.25

Very simple just punch it into a spreadsheet like excel, takes 10 seconds, good luck.

I noticed nobody has mentioned tennisexplorer anywhere. I've tried a few different sites to do my pre-match research but but have stuck with this one consistently for almost 2 years now. Gives me all the info I personally use without having that incredibly 'cluttered' feeling I get from most of the other sites. Etremely easy to use/navigate.

As for live scores, I'm pretty sure bet365 is the fastest. If it has a video stream you can guarantee the info you're getting is no more than about 5 seconds behind the actual match. Ladbrokes is occassionally slightly quicker than non-streamed matches on bet365. But other than bookmakers I have found livexscores the quickest.

It´s an interesting web too : http://live-tennis.eu/playersSchedule

I can see the ITF QUALIFYING acceptance lists on http://www.itftennis.com/home.aspx (picking on the ITF tournament link in wich you are interested). It displays all the official information updated.
But I never found a similar web to consult this same information on ATP or Challenger Tours.
I didn´t find it on http://www.atpworldtour.com/ .
Could anyone help me on this point?.
If you can´t help me : Do you know a better place on this forum to ask this question?

RIP Tennisinsight.

Unless it resurrects, might have to go to Oncourt for detailed comparative stats. I wish stats could be copy-pasted from Oncourt instead of having to manually transcribe them. Waste of time.

Any idea how quickly Oncourt stats update after a match?

EDIT: Nevermind - appears that TI is coming back for the new year :)
