Wow, awesome result for Simone, also an unexpected one for me.

I thought this had features to be a long 3 setter with both having chances to win it, but this categorical result makes me happy for Bolelli.

Matosevic once again playing terrible throughout his adopted home country of Australia, and once again lashing out at local fans who refer to him as "Mad Dog."

Mad Dog disheartened that his player's box wasn't clapping hard enough for him.

Bolleli was like $2.95 to win. Easy money for anyone who actually watches tennis.
i dont think it was more than 2.6-2.65 in serious bokies

I thought that while marinko was bad bolelli was also very good. Simone is playing really well right now, it will be interesting to see what he can do if he can keep this up this year. He should be able to win a title somewhere if he keeps it up. Could even be a dark horse for the title here this week.

Bolelli is the epitome of a coin toss right now, don't know which one shows up. He was absolutely terrible against gasquet, great against becker, and great again in this match.

Who knows which one shows up next round, frustrating because he is fun to watch when he gives a damn.

i think its just the match up with gasquet. he has only taken one set off him in all their meetings, he has no idea how to play him at all.

most Bolelli does, Gasquet does a little better, more consistently and with a pinch of genius in the BH.

I don't think this particular H2H is important for Simone right now, i think he's in solid form, could surprise some guys in first couple rounds in Melbourne, i hope he does.
