Sexpi strikes again!

Tsitsipas had a great serving day but Seppi worked his way into the match and was extremely solid. Second set was bit complicated as Seppi could have won it easier with SPs on Tsitsipas' serve (saved by a slew of consecutive aces), and had to weather 3 BPs on his own serve but got through and played a strong third set, though Tsitsipas also had break pts at 4-3 up, but Seppi held and then broke at 4-4.

Totally Sexppi . Is he really italian ? Always wondered  Real cool headed guy for a tano (italian). Played all through the tough moments without a first serve to save his life, from one set down. I thought all the match Tsitsi was gonna come up on top, massively serving and dictating mostly. But kept his cool and groundies in check , even flourishing at times and fk won!

Seppi always seems to peak in Australia ? IIRC he's made R4 more often than not the past 5 years, probably one of the most dangerous unseeded players in the AO draw.

How many more party pooping moments does Seppi have left in him? Nobody knows...

Really composed performance and another great win Down Under to his already rich resume. Again, experience should not be underestimated. Tsitsipas served well, yet had more trouble holding. Mostly because he couldn't get enough Seppi's serves back into play. Was 40-0 when Andreas was serving for second set, then lost 5 straight points to poor return and wild strokes. In the third the pressure was building up. First, he failed to convert BP's at 4-3 and after that attempted a few rather reckless approaches, allowing Seppi to pass and get the break.
With this field he has a chance to go all the way. Would be kinda hilarious.

Tsitsipas plays great but loses in Sydney.

That cc forehand at 2-0 in the second was pure BOATness from Seppi. His mental resilience and quality of tennis from 5-4 *0-40 really impressed me, especially the break points rallies were quite hard to win. And in the third he broke with a couple of great passing shots and a volley. Overall it's good to see him playing well again here.

Apparently Mateya looks around 70 years old these days because Seppi has been draining her youth
