Some nice looking match-ups already!

Liking Srichaphan vs Murray.

Crowd in Srichaphan's favour, and he will be in top physical condition. He likes the venue and lost in SF last year so he will be keen to improve on it. Murray no doubt wants a final but he must be running out of gas and Paradorn can exploit that. If Murray is on, he will win. However, I think physically he won't have enough, and there is a lot at stake in a SF, and he hasn't ever experienced that.

Roger over Nieminen 2/0 @ 1.14 without a doubt. Nieminen was lucky to beat Wang, and Roger rarely drops a set anyway

Has ugly Radek a chance against Johansson? He's at 2.15 for me! Johansson is not the best fighter anyway and it could become a fight.

Bangkok

1.04 R. Federer vs J. Nieminen 10.00
1.72 P. Srichaphan vs A. Murray 2.00

Palermo

1.72 I. Andreev vs A. Seppi 2.00

Vietnam

1.57 T. Johansson vs R. Stepanek 2.25
1.66 J. Bjorkman vs M. Puerta 2.10

Tojo thrashed Steppy on a similar surface in Rotterdam earlier this year. He is performing well in Asia this year...after missing out on the final in Beijing (had mps), he will be extra motivated tomorrow. Also likes playing serve and volleyers ;)

Bjorkman match is 70/30 I think and the pick of the day. Jonas clearly is at home on this type of surface as it suits his serve and volley game. He is also playing with confidence, something he hasn't done in over a year. Puerta has done very well to get this far but is almost out of gas by now, as backed up by his press conference: www.atptennis.com/en/newsandscores/news/2005/hochiminhcity_friday.asp !! A flight to Vietnam on Sunday, 9 sets of tennis of which 4 were tiebreaks, and 2 comebacks...should all be too much against a player who has cruised through the draw. Bjorkman leads 1/0 h2h courtesy of a straight sets win on clay (!!!) a couple of years back. This holds little water today, but the fact that this is Puerta's best result indoors shows how improbable his run is. Also, maybe his mind is on Tokyo? :p

I warned you all against backing Burgsmuller.

I'll warn you again, Murray will beat Srichaphan.
Burgsy was unlucky! ;)

Talent-wise, Murray would win. My concern is his energy reserves and, although he isn't normally nervous, this is one of the biggest matches of his life - a real landmark prospect. Plus, Srichaphan is dangerous - he is very comfortable in his surroundings.

For me - no bet. I think Murray will win though..but his reserves concern me.

You gonna warn me off Bjorkman? :p

Nah...unless you guys can convince me ( :p ), no go on any matches except Bjorkman over Puerta @ 1.66.

However, I think that tomorrow's SF winners will be Andreev, Federer, Murray, Bjorkman and Johansson.
