(4)Black/Ullyett vs Erlich/Ram
Starting at 2:00 PM
(1)R Nadal (ESP) vs (4)A Agassi (USA)
my Preview for the doubles final:
(4)Black/Ullyett vs Erlich/Ram
PICK: Erlich/Ram
Odds: 2.15
Ram/Erlich made an amazing tournament. I think it's their most impressive tournament since they got in to the doubles circuit.
They aren't seeded in this tournament and although this they made it to the final. In the 1st round they had hard battle with Huss/Moodie, Wimbledon 2005 champions. In the 2nd round, they knocked out the 5th seeded Paes/Zimnojic. In the QF - they defeated Knowels/Nestor, the 3th seeded, which had the crowd support after they were 1 set down.
Because of rain delay in friday, they had to meet the Bryans brothers 2.5 hours later. The funny thing is that the bryans made it to the SF without winning a math, in the 1st round they had BYE and in the 2nd round and QF they had walkover because of retirement of other doubles team.
After they played 3 setter against Knowels/Nestor with 2 Tiebreaks, they succeed to knock out the 2nd seeded bryans brothers.
Black/Ullyett had decent tournament. they are the 4th seed team. in the first round they had BYE, in the 2nd round they had easy game against Ferrer/gasquet which are not really good doubles players. In the 2nd round they had very impressive win after they knocked out Buhpathi/Damm , the 7th seeded in straight sets. Their biggest win was in the SF against the 1st seeded doubles players, Bjorkman/Mirnyi after a tough 3rd set.
Although Ram/Erlich are down 1-3 on HCS in the past meetings with Black/Ulyett, It seems that they did a great way to the finals, if they'll keep on this shape, they can win this one.
Good luck all
