he has won two 250 tournaments in the last 52 weeks, he is not able to improve his rankings anymore, as he has played only 3 500 tournaments this year, not 4

Bellucci is not a commitment player; he is not required to play four 500 tournaments & can count more than two 250 tournaments in his ranking.

But JCF can't count more than two 250 tournaments. Don't know why he's playing here, unless it's just practice before Hamburg.

http://www.mercedescup.de/
1st WC to Dustin Brown.
The other WCs aren´t confirmed yet but there are some who can get one of them, says the tournament director:
Brands, Reister, Lu, Zverev, Greul, Beck, Kiefer

I hope Brands doesn´t get one (I´m a fan of him) . I hope he plays Bastad qualis because of the points for the qualifiers and the worse field. Here in Stuttgart I don´t see him in the quarterfinals, but in Bastad it could happen I think with a good draw if he qualifies.

Re: Båstad Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated July 5, 2010)

According to http://www.mercedescup.de/index.php?id=120 Brands has received WC to Stuttgart. He should make a choice :)
Where can you see / read that? I think he´s just one of a few contenders for the two WCs. And he doesn´t even need one absolute because he´s in the Bastad maindraw. So I hope Reister and Beck, if he doesn´t get in direct, will get the WCs. Beck is from Stuttgart and needs the points immediately (has to defend a final at Gstaad) .

And about Muster: He just wants to play the Qualies with a WC, not the maindraw.

Re: Stuttgart Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated July 9, 2010)

Anyone knows who has got the 3rd WC?

Hopefully Reister.
Maybe Phau. The DTB wrote sth confusing on his homepage:

Dank einer Wild Card sind auch Mischa Zverev, der Deutsch-Jamaikaner Dustin Brown und Björn Phau mit dabei. Eine Entscheidung über die Vergabe der dritten und letzten Wild Card ist noch keine Entscheidung fallen.

There you can read that Mischa Zverev, Dustin Brown and Phau are also in thanks to the WC. In the next sentence you can read: "It isnt decided already who gets the 3rd WC."
Really confusing.

I suppose they just forgot to delete the second sentence when they edited the article.

Re: Stuttgart Entry List/Fact Sheet (updated July 9, 2010)

anyone knows the reason why dolgopolov has retired?
Dolgo obtained hip injury during last match with Tsonga. He hoped to recover for Stuttgart. However, it seems he is still in hands of doctors :(
