Hi Nacho.:wavey:

Very detailed info you got here. So this is a Intra-Spain tourney? How many you guys get every year? I only heard of the Championship of Spain in the mid year. You got to tell us more about the system in Spain.

So the winner can claim to be the best in Spain :) Well, at least the bragging right, I supposed.

Hey, thx for the info.

Carlos won it last year over Tommy, but he has lost two finals to Corretja in 1998 & 2000.

These are all the winners:

2001
Carlos Moyá def Tommy Robredo
2000
Alex Corretja def Carlos Moyá
1999
Francisco Clavet def Alex Corretja
1998
Alex Corretja def Carlos Moyá
1997
Felix Mantilla def Francisco Clavet
1996
Sergi Bruguera def Francisco Clavet
1995
Sergi Bruguera def Francisco Clavet
1994
Tomas Carbonell def Francisco Clavet

As you can see, Clavet is the king of this Master at the moment, with 1 title and 4 finals.

moyke isn't playing the masters this year, because his back is too tired, he must rest for a while
and so he can not give 100 % and he doen't want to loose in the first round. That is normal i think, moyke showed us this last week that he gives himself for 100% if he is able to do it.

:) VAMOS Alex, Tommy, Feli!!!!

Why do you hate Moya, Nacho??? I never liked him much before, esp. when he beat Alex at RG98 but I think he has matured in his game and attitude and is more humble now and more hardworking... in fact, I like him!! [so does my mom!!! so he can't be that bad!!:p ]

Albert has confirmed he will play, after a bit of an injury scare. If anyone is going this weekend, and wants free tickets (I've got plenty), pm me (better at wtaworld, as I dont log in here much) and they're yours. I'm going to Madrid on Friday though, so be quick!

Sorry but i think moya was always humble, sometimes too humble, he always praises his opponents, and when he lost a match it was because the other is a better player. From the beginning he had a good attitude during the match, and maturity, but indeed now he is working more. When he was younger he hated the trainings.
